How to beat boredom at home? The world is facing a catastrophe. The Covid-19 situation is affecting the entire world, and in order for the virus to stop spreading : we must stay home.
Staying home the whole day? For weeks? Maybe for months? You must think it’s boring. We are always complaining that we don’t have enough time to get things done, and when we have too much time we don’t know what to do with it.
So in the blog post I will sum up the things you can do to stay busy at home, and don’t stay all day in front of a screen. Just a simple reminder that it’s healthier to use to blue glasses when staying a lot of time in front of a screen – preserve your eyes!
ENJOY THE TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY
Stay home and take care of each other. This situation is teaching us how to re-discover and re-appreciate the little things. Therefore, take time to reflect on what is really important and establish new values, new priorities, new goals. Also, do not forget to play with your pets! 😉
LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE
The first step to learning a new language is to set goals for what you want to achieve. Furthermore, there are so many free applications and online courses nowadays that is makes the job really easy! In fact, learn the right words, study smart, and try using the new words you know in everything you are doing. You’re cooking? Say the name of the products and utensil you use in the language you’re trying to learn. You can also learn about the culture of the language. But most of it : HAVE FUN!
PLAY AN INSTRUMENT
First of all, you don’t want to learn to play an instrument – you want to be able to play an instrument. Can you see this old guitar in your garage that have never been used? Or the dusty piano in your living room? It’s the time to use them! They have been waiting here for so long, and are just waiting for you. For instance, open YouTube, watch, listen, and try!
NETFLIX PARTY
Since you can’t get together to watch movies with friends, you have to do it remotely. And for that, the Netflix Party app is perfect. It allows Google chrome users to add an extension that lets you and your friends’ Netflixes sync to launch a movie or series at the same time. Even more, a chat window will also appear so that you can communicate in real time with your friends on what you see!
SPORT
“I can’t find the time” is probably the most used excuse to don’t do sport. But for the reason that we are all isolated at home, this excuse doesn’t work anymore. To start with, what I recommend you do is to create a program with YouTube videos. There is something for all tastes and all levels. In addition, for a bit more motivation, don’t forget to take your mensurations at the beginning of the program, and at the end.
MEDIATION & YOGA
Need a great way to start your day? Take a few moments when you first wake up to set a direction for your day with morning meditation. As Albert Einstein said “The world we have created is a product of our thinking; it cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”
Yoga and mediation brings many benefits, such as : eliminate the stress and anxiety, stay in peace with yourself, boost your overall self-esteem, provide you with an energy-boost, and so much more! And studies proved that it also make you last longer in bed.. 😉

If you haven’t heard about tiktok yet, then I don’t know in which world you live! It’s an app where you post short videos about a n y t h i n g ! Including dance, singing, behind the scene, animals, photography, funny, ridiculous videos. Follow the trends and make your own videos. I promise you it’s worth the try, and a great way to beat boredom at home
