Escape In Bali

Newly open in October 2019, Escape In Bali in a family owned business located in the middle of the jungle, Kabupaten Gianyar. Only 5 minutes driving from the famous holy water temple Tirta Empul, the place is a distinguished unique eco stay, perfect for all nature lovers looking for a quiet getaway.

Nyoman, the owner of the place, also provide with complimentary scooter, and breakfast. However, the place doesn’t offer lunch and dinner, but there is an equipped kitchen where you can freely cook.

The bathroom, very well designed, is huge and has 2 showers : one indoor, the other outdoor. In the garden, there is also a small river leading to a stone bath tub. At night time, you can see and hear animal, but nothing to worry about. Truly one of the best bamboo houses in Bali.


Camaya

Located East of Bali, Camaya is a complex of 5 houses all equally, overlooking some rice terraces and a stunning view of the peak of Mount Agung. A free parking on premises, as well as the breakfast and the WiFi. Note that there isn’t an ATM around, so bring enough cash!

The design, details, and architecture of each houses is truly unique. Staying at Camaya is a once in a lifetime experience unlike any place you have stayed before. Since there are no restaurant around, they have a local restaurant on the property that offers simple, homemade Balinese dishes.

The house on the pictures is the Butterfly House. The upper floor consist of a cinema with a long list of movies of any gender you can choose from. Lots of pillows and light that make the moment really special. In addition to this, there is a hanging net facing sunset and the rice terraces.


Hideout

Located in the region of Gunung Agung, Hideout is another eco-friendly bamboo hideaway along idyllic riverbanks and rice fields. Handcrafted in 2015 by locals, the idea comes from a Czech couple – the complex consist 6 different houses. Far from the city life, it acts as the perfect hideaway for all adventurous travelers feeling overwhelmed by life. Hideout is a perfect place for long-time travelers, lovers of nature, spiritual-minded people, trekking-lovers, backpackers, artists, musicians, and eco-enthusiast.

Since there are no restaurant at walking distance, they have a restaurant on the property that offers simple, homemade Balinese dishes. Breakfast is included, WiFi is available, parking on premises, but no ATM around.


Bird Hills

Embrace the nature and stay at the brand new Bird Hills Bamboo House, a hidden gems in Sidemen Village. Out from hustle and bustle city-life, the place is in a very private location where you can relax your mind and recharge your spirit. Kresna, the host, offer complimentary breakfast and have free parking on premises. In addition to this, they can offer lunch and dinner, but if you wanna cook by yourself there is a fully equipped kitchen.


La Royale Nusa Penida

La Royale, situated on Nusa Penida Island is a complex of 4 wooden villas, and 1 made from natural bamboo. The bamboo villa is huge, with a private pool, kitchenette, movie theater, bathtub, garden hanging net and outdoor shower. They offer complimentary breakfast, and a buffet lunch for 100k IDR is also available. The dinner isn’t served at the property, but there are many restaurant at walking distance. A parking is available on premises.


Penida Bambu Green

Although this villa is a bit hard to reach because of the road, Penida Green remains a beautiful place in the middle of the nature. They have number of houses, and each of them have their own private terrace where the delicious breakfast is served every morning. They have a restaurant where they serve lunch and dinner, but you can decide to have your meal on your terrace if you prefer. In addition to this, they have a beautiful communal pool facing the majestic Mount Agung.
